Khan Academy -- http://www.khanacademy.org/ -- is a very useful site. There you can find short (15 minutes or so) video presentations on just about any topic covered in most subjects offered from elementary school through AP courses. I checked out a few math videos and found them very easy to follow. If a student is absent or just needs help with, for example, “conic sections: hyperbolas,” this is a great resource.
