REGISTRATION FOR NEW STUDENTS
2024 - 2025 Academic Year
New Student Registration - Spanish Version
1. Beginning June 1, 2024, go to https://bedford.sharpschool.net/ and register as a “New Student”
a. Registration must be completed by the student’s parent/guardian/agency. The person completing the registration must have custody of the student.
b. If residing outside of the JFHS school zone, a zone transfer application must be submitted to the school board. See the website above for more details. Once approved, complete registration.
2. Once online registration is complete, please gather the following documents and drop them off at Jefferson Forest High School in an envelope addressed to Marcy Farris, Registrar. If further information is needed, you will be contacted.
i. Copy of student’s birth certificate
ii. Copy of residency validation - must be a lease agreement, mortgage statement, or tax records from current property. Name and address must appear on the document. Utility bill, bank statement, and driver’s license will NOT be accepted.
iii. Student Entrance Physical and Immunization Record - Physical must have been completed AFTER kindergarten by a physician’s office. Please complete and sign the front page of physical. Immunization Record must be signed by doctor’s office. Sports physicals are NOT accepted.
iv. Copy of student’s most recent report card and/or transcript.
3. The School Nurse will review the physical and immunization records and will notify you if anything is needed. This review may be delayed during the summer.
4. After evaluating report card and/or transcript, a class schedule will be finalized by your student’s counselor before school begins. If there are questions, you will be contacted. This process may be delayed during the summer.
5. Once the student begins school, a Chromebook and charger will be provided to your student.

An open house for all students will be held at Jefferson Forest High School on Thursday, August 8, 2024 from 12-7pm.
School starts on Monday, August 12, 2024.
